Job Overview
The Product Merchandiser will be responsible for creating engaging product displays, improving in-store presentation, and promoting VKB’s trusted milling brands. This role combines creativity, data-driven insights, and strategic thinking to enhance the consumer shopping experience and drive sales growth.

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric certificate
Valid driver’s license (own vehicle will be an advantage)
Proven experience as a merchandiser in the retail or FMCG environment
Strong knowledge of visual merchandising techniques and current trends
Computer literacy – proficient in MS Office
Excellent visual design and creative presentation skills
Analytical mindset to interpret sales data and customer feedback reports
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute effective merchandising strategies that align with VKB’s brand identity and target market.
Visit retail outlets regularly to ensure products are properly stocked, displayed, and promoted according to company standards.
Design and maintain eye-catching displays that enhance brand visibility and encourage consumer engagement.
Implement seasonal or festive displays to promote new product launches and special campaigns.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure stock levels and product presentation are optimized.
Conduct regular assessments of store layouts, signage, and product placement to improve the overall shopping experience.
Analyse sales and merchandising performance reports to identify areas for improvement.
Uphold VKB’s corporate culture, image, and values in every store engagement.
Liaise with suppliers and store managers to coordinate promotional material and point-of-sale (POS) elements.
