As a Cosmetics Merchandiser, you’ll play a key role in maintaining Dis-Chem’s world-class merchandising standards, ensuring shelves are always stocked, products are beautifully displayed, and customers receive outstanding service.
Job Purpose:
The role focuses on maintaining high merchandising standards, ensuring the availability of products, and delivering an excellent customer shopping experience aligned with Dis-Chem’s values and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and restock product displays for maximum visibility.
Ensure proper rotation of stock and prevent expired or damaged items.
Support stock control and assist with counting and reporting low inventory.
Ensure pricing, labeling, and merchandising layouts meet Dis-Chem’s standards.
Deliver exceptional customer service and assist with product inquiries.
Follow safety, health, and hygiene procedures in-store.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric
0–6 months retail experience (essential)
1 year of retail experience (advantageous)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Computer literate and numerically skilled
Ability to work retail hours and in a team environment
