As a Life Orientation and PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering future-focused education that motivates and inspires students. You will guide learners toward developing critical thinking, independent work skills, and strong foundational knowledge across their curricula. The role requires strength of character, integrity, and professionalism, alongside the ability to foster constructive relationships with colleagues, parents, guardians, and the broader community.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and inspiring Life Orientation and Physical Education lessons
Manage academic assessment and reporting in accordance with school policies
Uphold student behaviour management standards and promote a positive school culture
Represent the school brand as an ambassador both inside and outside the classroom
Perform administration duties efficiently and ensure health & safety compliance
Collaborate with all members of the learning community in a respectful and professional manner
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Undergraduate degree (NQF Level 6) and PGCE or B. Education (Intermediate, Intersen or Senior Phase)
SACE certification and valid police clearance
2-5 years teaching experience
Computer and digital literacy skills
First Aid certification
