Key Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service at the point of sale.
Record customer transactions accurately according to company policies and procedures.
Maintain cash flow responsibly and handle payments securely.
Establish professional relationships with customers and handle queries efficiently.
Report compliments and complaints to the Frontline Supervisor or Store Manager.
Process all purchases, refunds, and loyalty card transactions.
Ensure that all merchandise leaving the store has been scanned and paid for.
Follow company security policies to prevent loss or fraud.
Promote current sales and store promotions to customers.
Maintain confidentiality and handle daily takings responsibly.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric certificate (compulsory)
Minimum of 6 months’ cashier or till operations experience
Computer literate (MS Office proficiency)
Good numerical and communication skills
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Willing and able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
