Job Description and Responsibilities
As a Packer at VKB Milling, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all packaging processes meet company standards and safety requirements. Your duties will include:
Using the correct packaging for graded mills at all times.
Ensuring that milled products are correctly bagged, labeled, and stored according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintaining tidiness and cleanliness in the work area.
Assisting with loading, offloading, and stock control.
Complying with safety and food legislation at all times.
Supporting operational efficiency through teamwork and attention to detail.
This position requires physical strength, precision, and a strong work ethic to maintain VKB’s high-quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following:
Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification.
Ability to perform hard manual labour.
Willingness to work Monday to Saturday (six-day work week).
Ability to work night shifts if required.
Good communication skills and basic English literacy.
Excellent health and physical fitness.
