Key Responsibilities
As the Finance Manager, your duties will include:
Managing and reviewing monthly accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial management reports.
Overseeing cash flow management, investments, and payment approvals.
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Ensuring the timely and accurate submission of all statutory and regulatory returns, including FSCA, SARS, Reserve Bank, Prudential Authority, and NAMFISA.
Reviewing and reconciling all control accounts, balance sheets, and income statements on a monthly basis.
Preparing annual financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Liaising with both internal and external auditors to ensure transparent and compliant financial practices.
Implementing and optimizing financial systems, internal controls, and business processes.
Supporting regional managers and executives with accurate financial data, insights, and performance analysis.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following:
CA(SA) qualification (essential).
At least 2 years’ post-articles experience in finance or accounting (experience in short-term insurance or financial services preferred).
Proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and financial analysis.
Working knowledge of Great Plains, SAP, or Accpac systems is advantageous.
Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while managing deadlines effectively.
A proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset.
